About XeneaDomainName
XeneaDomainName (XDN) is a domain name service provided on the Xenea blockchain. Users can acquire domain names like "website.xenea" and link them to wallet addresses. Domain name ownership is managed through ERC-721 standard NFTs.
XDN simplifies Web3 application usage and reduces transfer errors. Using memorable domain names instead of long, complex wallet addresses improves user experience.
Web3 domain services are growing in importance with decentralized internet development. They offer a blockchain-based alternative to traditional DNS, managing domain ownership transparently and securely while providing censorship and tampering resistance.
Web3 domain services facilitate integration with decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts. Users can access dApps using domain names and express smart contract addresses in human-readable format.

The beginning of XeneaDomainName
XeneaDomainName (XDN) was created during "WaveHack," a Web3 accelerator program with grants hosted by Akindo during May to August 2024.
Before our public mainnet launch, we sought basic applications to build our ecosystem. XDN was developed throughout WaveHack and emerged as the most practical product among all submissions. We extended an offer to its creator, HARUKI, and XDN was subsequently onboarded to Xenea's public mainnet.

What happens next?
XDN will be available upon Xenea's mainnet launch. To expand early awareness, XDN will be listed in XENEA Wallet campaigns. Top-performing mission participants will have chances to win free domain name minting rights through a lottery system.
Future plans include integrating XDN into XENEA Wallet, allowing users to seamlessly acquire Xenea blockchain domain names.
