Updated: Roadmap to TGE

In August 2024, we published “Roadmap to TGE,” unveiling our twin‑track strategy to develop the Xenea blockchain and launch the XENEA Wallet. Ten months in, XENEA Wallet is live, Wallet Season 2 is nearing its close, and the project continues to progress steadily. Thanks to your support, we are now ready to embark on a new voyage — the public phase.

Through our activities we have learned beyond core blockchain engineering, areas such as fundraising and business development demand more attention than initially anticipated. The roadmap below reflects those lessons and is based on plans as of 18 July 2025. 

Roadmap: Q3–Q4 2025 

Our experience to date has shown that careful, time‑intensive work is essential not only on the blockchain itself, but also across supporting areas like fundraising and business development. With that in mind, we present this updated roadmap as of 18 July 2025.

Q3 2025

XENEA Wallet

Launch of XENEA Wallet Season 3

XENEA Wallet will introduce on‑chain missions, enabling users to seamlessly experience products from ecosystem partners directly within the wallet. These missions will continue beyond Season 3, offering wallet users ongoing opportunities to engage with new ecosystem entries.

Start of financial‑feature integration

We will integrate on‑/off‑ramp, card, and in‑store payment features into XENEA Wallet. This eliminates the hassle of transferring crypto to an exchange for fiat conversion. Implementation will begin with on‑/off‑ramp, making XENEA Wallet usable in everyday life.

Xenea Blockchain

Public testnet launch

We will launch a public testnet that offers an environment equivalent to the mainnet. Developers will be able to test applications leveraging large‑volume data through decentralized storage. By collecting feedback from application developers, we will perform final adjustments before mainnet launch.

Node sale

To ensure high quality mainnet infrastructure, we will conduct a node sale for DACS and Rep nodes. Purchased nodes will go live with the public mainnet launch.

Q4 2025

Xenea Blockchain

Public mainnet launch

We will release an EVM‑compatible Layer 1 mainnet with integrated decentralized storage. Developers will be able to build applications that handle sustainable, persistent digital assets.

In addition, XENEA Wallet users will be able to participate in our unique Proof of Democracy consensus by operating Rep nodes, thereby contributing to the security of the Xenea blockchain.

Token Generation Event (TGE)

Following a stabilization period post-mainnet launch, we will mint $XENE tokens in accordance with the genesis token allocation and distribute them to ecosystem participants. Users who have taken part in XENEA Wallet activities will receive $XENE according to their level of engagement and contribution.

Conclusion

In the second half of 2025, Xenea will first launch the public testnet and Wallet Season 3 simultaneously, integrate on‑chain missions and financial features, and secure infrastructure quality through the node sale.

In Q4 2025 we plan to release the EVM‑compatible mainnet with integrated decentralized storage, strengthen network security through Proof of Democracy with active Rep nodes, hold the $XENE Token Generation Event, and distribute tokens into the ecosystem.
