Xenea has entered into a strategic partnership with Nesa, a provider of a privacy-preserving AI compute layer. By protecting privacy across both the compute and storage layers, this collaboration aims to deliver a neutral and secure AI infrastructure where users retain sovereignty over their data.
In recent years, AI has been becoming indispensable infrastructure for our lives and businesses. At the same time, many conventional AI services concentrate users’ prompts and data on the servers of specific providers, creating an opaque structure where end users cannot see how their information is used.
This structure gives rise to several issues:
The risk of privacy violations stemming from large-scale data collection by a handful of companies
For enterprises, the very act of entering confidential or sensitive information into AI becomes an adoption bottleneck
Centralized control of data and models can become fertile ground for arbitrary censorship and bias
Against this backdrop, there is a growing need for a self-sovereign AI platform that protects privacy end-to-end—including who holds the data, where computation occurs, and how results are verified.
Nesa provides a verifiable, decentralized AI execution layer that eliminates centralized control by leveraging blockchain technology. Users’ data is processed through confidential computation, enabling the use of AI in a way that remains unreadable to third parties.
Xenea, for its part, is building a decentralized storage foundation—a neutral platform that removes centralization and arbitrary tampering from data storage and management.
We believe that truly private and secure AI requires a privacy-preserving, verifiable compute layer and a decentralized, neutral, tamper-resistant storage layer. In this sense, the technical integration between Nesa and Xenea is a natural fit, leading to this collaboration.
1) Exploring Technical Integration
We will advance technical integration between Xenea’s decentralized storage and Nesa’s privacy-preserving AI platform. Specifically, we envision Nesa providing a storage API for application developers, through which developers can selectively use multiple decentralized storage options—including DACS, Xenea’s storage.
This will enable:
User data to be stored on decentralized storage
That data to be used for computation on Nesa in a privacy-preserving manner
The entire process to be verifiable without reliance on third parties
Our goal is to realize a self-sovereign, neutral AI data infrastructure.
2) Joint Marketing and User-Base Growth
Through joint campaigns, quests, AMAs, and more, we will foster cross-community awareness. As a first step, we will run a joint campaign featuring a lottery-style airdrop.
By creating opportunities for as many users as possible to understand the value of both products and actually try them, we will jointly build privacy-first, secure AI.
