J-StarX 2025 “Web3 × Middle East” Course Election Notice

We are pleased to announce that Xenea has been selected for the J-StarX 2025 “Web3 × Middle East” Course, hosted by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization).

Background of Participation in J-StarX 2025

Xenea is originally a Japan-based project, developing a unique Layer 1 blockchain based on its Decentralized Autonomous Content Storage (DACS) and aiming to expand global adoption and strengthen fundraising efforts, which are critical at this stage. For this reason, we applied to the “Web3 × Middle East” course.

JETRO, as an independent administrative agency, plays a role in supporting the global expansion of Japanese companies, having facilitated the international growth of a wide range of businesses, from manufacturing to startups. In recent years, JETRO has placed particular emphasis on the Web3 sector, launching initiatives like the “Web3 Salon” with domestic and international experts and investors to actively support Japanese Web3 startups in establishing a presence in global markets.

The selection process took place on August 26, 2025, during the Web3 event WebX 2025, drawing significant attention from both domestic and international audiences, and Xenea was ultimately selected. A total of seven companies were chosen, and we are proud to be one of them.

Course Content

This course provides a practical support program for Japanese Web3 companies to enter the Middle East market. The specific details are as follows:

• (Already Done) Workshops & Demo Day in Tokyo
  Participated in an offline workshop in Tokyo and delivered a pitch at WebX 2025. This has already been completed, and Xenea’s vision was shared with many investors and business operators.

• Online Mentoring
  Receive personalized mentoring from global venture capital firms, including Elixir Capital, to refine pitches and strategies.

• Business Trip to the Middle East (UAE)
  Conduct meetings with investors and companies on-site to directly explore Web3 use cases and partnership opportunities in the Middle East market.

• Showcase at GITEX Global in Dubai
  We will exhibit at GITEX, one of the world’s largest tech expos, and plan to hold a demo day for local investors and business operators.

Future Outlook

As the next major step, Xenea’s CSO, Yuma Tanimoto, is scheduled to speak at a pitch event co-hosted by Elixir Capital and JETRO during GITEX on October 13, 2025. This will be an opportunity to directly showcase the potential of Xenea’s decentralized storage to global investors and business operators.

Through this J-StarX selection, we aim to achieve the following:

• Accelerate fundraising by expanding connections with global investors

• Expand business networks, particularly in the Middle East market

• Promote the use cases of decentralized storage (DACS) internationally, strengthening the global ecosystem
